Context:

Internship of 7 weeks at Anuman interactive in a team of 4 people, working in collaboration with a team of 10 people from Koalabs for the programming and an other studio for the visual assets.

 

Concept:

Syberia is an third person adventure game full of puzzles. It's the third part of Kate Walker's journey.

 

My Work:

Since the team was quite small, I had the opportunity to help on different levels:

 

  •  Formalization of most of the Game Design documents
  •  Making behaviors documents for the several puzzles
  •  Checking and completing the animations and assets lists
  •  Submitting gameplay and level design ideas for three puzzles
  •  Helping our main Game Artist with references pictures
  •  Answering level designers questions

 

Two weeks before the end of my internship, the lead Game Designer went on vacations and left me in charge.

 

I had to answer the questions of the studio working with us, taking notes of their feedbacks and making sure the tasks were properly done.

 

It was nice to be trusted and to have such responsibilities!
